Industrial surface treatment technician (craft certificate)

Key tasks include:

• judging/assessing if a product is suitable for surface treatment
• pre-treatment of goods, mechanically, chemically or electrolytically
• surface treatment of components with organic or unorganic coating
• using machines like transporters, pumps, cabins, ovens, rectifiers, etc
• inspecting and managing the processes of readings, measurements and analyses

An industrial surface treatment technician should be able to work systematically, meticulously and efficiently, both independently and with others. You should be thourough and good at working with your hands.
