A blacksmith employs a variety of techniques, methods and types of steel, and systemizes, plans and implements, evaluates and quality assures the work. Key tasks include:

• Creation of tools, objects, locks, hardware and decorative art using steel materials
• Use and maintenance of machines and hand tools
• Marketing of products and services

You should be dexterous and have a good sense of form and aesthetics.
